In celebration of Earth Day, the Jefferson Creek staff members will be planting a new tree in the community. This will be the start of a new tradition for our residents and their families to remember to give back tot he environment and grow together!
Help protect the Earth and our community by:
- Conserving Water: Don't let the faucets when washing the dishes or brushing your teeth.
- Reduce Electric Consumption: Turn off electronics and lights when not it use and unplug your cellphone chargers when your phone is fully charged.
- Don't litter: Dispose of cigarettes properly and do not leave it on the ground.
- Use Less Chemicals: Harsh cleaning products can contain harmful pollutants that contribute to smog, reduce the quality of drinking water and are toxic to animals.
- Pick up after your pets: Toxic bacteria can seep into the soil and can pollute our fresh water supply because wastewater treatment centers are not designed to filter dog waste!
