In celebration of Earth Day, the Jefferson Creek staff members will be planting a new tree in the community. This will be the start of a new tradition for our residents and their families to remember to give back tot he environment and grow together!<\/p>\n

Help protect the Earth and our community by:<\/p>\n

• \n\t\tConserving Water<\/strong>: Don't let the faucets when washing the dishes or brushing your teeth.<\/li>\n
• \n\t\tReduce Electric Consumption<\/strong>: Turn off electronics and lights when not it use and unplug your cellphone chargers when your phone is fully charged.<\/li>\n
• \n\t\tDon't litter<\/strong>: Dispose of cigarettes properly and do not leave it on the ground.<\/li>\n
• \n\t\tUse Less Chemicals<\/strong>: Harsh cleaning products can contain harmful pollutants that contribute to smog, reduce the quality of drinking water and are toxic to animals.<\/li>\n
• \n\t\tPick up after your pets<\/strong>: Toxic bacteria can seep into the soil and can pollute our fresh water supply because wastewater treatment centers are not designed to filter dog waste!<\/li>\n
